if you were really doing this experiment then you would know everyone varies and that eating disorders are a mental health issue. Also you would be reading your material instead of asking this q on here.

double majored in sociolgy and psychology.
You have the eating disorder: here are some of your q's

Have i eaten enough today?
Most days i have a bowl of cereal with skimmed milk for breakfast, an egg sandwich no mayo for lunch and a bowl of cereal again for dinner.
I do not eat after 5pm.
Is this enough to maintain my weight?

----

Why have my periods stopped?
I have always been very regular (every 21-23 days) but i have now not had a period for 2 months. I have been celibate since August so there is no way i can be pregnant but i have changed my eating habits. I used to eat lots of small meals a day throughout the day but now i just eat in the evening due to work.
I've not intentionally been starving myself but could it be that i am not eating enought and thats why they've stopped (i don't weigh myself) or can the mere change of eating habits stop periods for a bit?

-----------------------------

Undecided QuestionShow me another »
Im only eating 700kcal a day...?
I've never had an appetite or really enjoyed food since i was young but when i was living at home my mum would force me to eat or give me calorie laden food when i did eat. Now however i've moved out and looking back i've realised i've only been eating about 700kcal a day and i don't tend to eat anything before 5pm.
Am i going to lose a lot of weight?

N.B I don't have an eating disorder and i don't want to lose weight i just dont remember to eat!

anorexics would have a SLOWER metabolic rate! they starve themselves and so their bodies would be trying to live off fat they may already have. NOT a good road to go down!

1 -2 lbs may be ...
1 -2 lbs may be great for someone who is liek ... 150lbs or less. but the more you weight the more weight you lose. when i was nearly 300lbs i lost about 8 - 13 lbs per week with just basic exercise. Now that im 160 i can lose maybe half a pound a week doing basically the same thing. So yes, people really could lose 20 lbs a week if they actually tried and weighed enough to begin with.

This one is pretty ...
This one is pretty simple, because you are soo tall the weight is evenly distributed across your whole body. For example if you were 5ft 7 you would be moderately overweight, assuming your weight stays the same. The taller you are, the thinner you look. Vice Versa.

Yeah but you're ...
Yeah but you're talking obese. My experience was similar--I used to be 260 and early on in my diet and exercise it wouldn't be uncommon for me to drop as much as 6 pounds, but as I got closer to my goal it slowed down and eventually was close to 1 pound a week.
