PostHeaderIcon How much weight will i lose a week if i eat 900-1000 calories?

I weigh 135 and im 16 5′4" and i exercise 2 hours( ballet) 5 times a weeks. How much weight will i lose in a week? Please don’t tell me that im not fat, i feel like i need to lose weight, and es i have posted this question numerous time, i would like a lot of different opinions. Thanks!

Like what the others have already said 900-1000 calories is VERY low. Also 1 week is not a lot of time and much of what you lose will be water weight.

But if you really need to know, according to the calculator below you will lose around 3 pounds

PostHeaderIcon How can i lose weight in a week without exercizing?

I just had surgery so i cannot exersize for a while, but really want to lose weight for an important event in one week. what are some tips on how to slim down with no exersize?

Aren’t there different exercises you can do, even swimming?

If the answer is no, all you have left to you is diet and sweating. Stop eating all food with significant fat. No meat. No oil.

You can also wear tons of clothes and try to sweat your way to lower weight.

Ugh…good luck.

PostHeaderIcon How to lose weight in 1 week?

I am 5′7" and weigh 195 pounds. I want to get down to a normal weight in about a week. I am going on the Master Cleanse, and I walk about a Mile everyday. What more can I do? I am desperate! And please don’t tell me It’s not healthy to lose that much weight in a week, I know this. Only answer if you actually have an answer for me!

I’ve been there before so I understand what it feels like to just want to drop it all NOW. One word of caution about taking anyone’s advice for this feat you’re undertaking: If you’re not careful, you may lose your manhood. You may not be concerned about the health effects, but you probably are interested in keeping your libido and your confidence as a male.

A few years ago I gained quite a bit of weight back after losing it. Wanting to drop it all, just like you, I made a lot of mistakes that basically took my manhood for a period of time. Not only did my libido disappear for awhile, but I got weaker and lost a lot of muscle too. I’d never felt so vulnerable and frail in my life. If you’re interested, you can read my personal story here: http://www.superstarhealth.com/my-story.

Anyhow, on with the tips.

1) Eat natural foods that are high in nutrients but low in calories: Fruits, vegetables, chicken breast and whole grain products. For fruit, peaches, nectarines and cantaloupe are all fairly low in calories. For whole grain products, Orowheat double fiber wheat bread only has 70 calories per slice, but 6 grams of fiber. And most vegetables, with the exception of peas, carrots, parsnips, corn and potatoes are very, very low in calories.

2) Since you’re exercising, you probably don’t want to eat less than 1500 calories daily. Any less for an extended period of time may signal starvation to your body and put you into what’s called survival mode.

3) Make sure you eat your calories (food) throughout the day to maximize your nutrient absorption and keep your metabolism as high as possible. The advice of eating 5 -6 times daily is not just a good sounding piece of advice; it’s crucial to keep your metabolism and energy from crashing.

4) Since you’re exercising and cutting calories, you’ll need at least 10 – 12 cups of water to keep your energy up and your brain functioning correctly.

5) Eat a bit more at least one day a week to prevent your metabolism from coming to a screeching halt. This isn’t an attempt to convince you not to lose weight; it’s a necessity if you don’t want to hit a weight loss wall.

6) Be sure you take a multi-vitamin supplement and some omega 3 pills (fish oil) to make sure you’re feeding your heart a little bit of healthy fat. It will supply your body with what it needs to keep testosterone up.

7) Increase your exercise every week, maybe an additional half mile or so, but don’t go overboard on the exercise. Too much will wear you down. You also might want to consider lifting weights or doing some type of resistance exercise to keep your muscles strong.

Just to be clear, I’m not an advocate of rapid weight loss, but I like to help out however I can when I can. In addition to the tips I’ve included above, I’ve also written an article on SuperstarHealth.com entitled: Is rapid weight loss realistic? that you’ll probably be interested in. I’ll post an excerpt below, but you can read the rest of the article here: http://www.superstarhealth.com/is-rapid-weight-loss-realistic

Also, if you’d like, I wrote a special 22 page report entitled: “35 Reasons why 9 out of 10 people are doomed to be overweight forever.” I’d post an excerpt for you but I don’t have enough room.
Not only does this report identify 35 specific reasons why people fail at losing weight, which can definitely help you to maximize your efforts, but it also gives a simple solution for each challenge. If you’d like to read the entire report, you may download a complimentary PDF copy (without giving your email address or other personal information) as my gift to you here: http://www.superstarhealth.com/truth

Begin article excerpt:

Almost everywhere you look today, there’s a company or individual selling a product that promises to help us lose weight quickly. The trouble with these claims, aside from the fact that we cannot force our body to burn fat quickly, is that none of them address the underlying issue. If the products work at all, most of them merely treat the symptom with a quick fix. And even if they do work for awhile, the results almost never last because weight loss is much more than just losing a few pounds; it’s a mental and lifestyle transition as well.

In order to lose weight and maintain the results long term we have to make a transition into a new way of life, both mentally and physically. Otherwise, we’re doomed to have a weight gain relapse. Consider this: if we lose weight and then go back to an old habit of late night eating, what will happen? Of course, we’ll gain all the weight back. And if we stop exercising once we reach our ideal weight, what will happen? The same thing, eventually we’ll gain some or all of the weight back.

Good Luck!

PostHeaderIcon How can I lose a lot of weight in two weeks?

I’m twelve, my school starts in two weeks and I don’t ant to be in the locker room all fat looking. I Did a body test on Wii fit today and it said I was at risk of overweight. I am 99 pounds: Heavier than half the kids my age ( the doctor told me today.) I know to stop eating bad, cause that’s half the reason, but what else should I do? How long a day should I work out?

The best way to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight is through changing your eating habits and exercising regularly.

1. Choose whole grains.

2. Drink plenty of water.

3. Choose lean meats and fish.

4. Know the portion sizes for your calorie target.

5. Limit fats to an average of 15 grams per meal.

6. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.

7. Work out for no less that 45 minutes, 4-5 days a week.

8. Select foods with less than 3 grams of fat per 100 calories.

9. Choose pretzels, baked chips, fat-free popcorn instead of fries and chips.

10. Avoid foods with partially hydrogenated oils, trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup.

11. Choose cereal, bread, crackers or chips that contain 2 or more grams of fiber per 100 calories.

12. Choose fat-free or low-fat variety of foods especially when it comes to dairy products (milk, cheese, and yogurt).

PostHeaderIcon How can I lose weight in one week?

I know when your like 100 pounds over weight you start out losing weight really fast. I want to lose like 10 or 15 pounds before a picture I have to take next week. I know it is possible because i have done it before. I want to know if anyone has any meal plans or what I can eat. Also if any one could tell me some good exercises that would be great.
Thanks.

Set an achievable goal for your weight reduction. If the aim is not practical then you will easily get disheartened and stop following your regime. You must set a target that has a time limit. The amount of weight you want to lose and the time within which you would like to lose it should be decided beforehand. If the time and amount of weight is clearly decided primarily, then your enthusiasm will keep you on the track until you reach your destination.
