PostHeaderIcon How come i work out at gym 5days a week and I dont lose weight?

First, my meals are diet (so no worries)

i sleep 8hrs……..

At gym i start with lifting and work out muscles first than on treadmill/bike for 25-30minutes

treadmill speed 8km/h
bike 22km/h

can anyway give me an answer please???

If you want to lose weight some weeks. You can try Lose weight a week plan first!

Day 1:

Eat the soup accompanied with watermelon and melon for your main food all day long. Consume a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice before you go to bed.

Day 2:

Stop eating fruit at all! Consume your soup and you are allowed to eat green salad. Make sure the salad contain no dressings, peas and corns.

For dinner you can consume roasted potato or baked potato with butter (don’t ever think to fry it)

Day 3:

Consume the soup, salad and fruit but no potato today.

Day 4:

Eat the soup accompanied with a glass of skimmed milk. Consume 8 pieces of banana to provide your body enough energy. Your body now need carbohydrate and protein also calcium to lessen body need for sugar.

Day 5

Eat your soup again. Today you should consume salad and salmon fish. Make sure the salmon fish don’t exceed 10 ounces.

Day 6

You should consume maximum 10 ounces of meat along with your soup. You need the protein here.

Last Day

Consume 4 table spoons of rice with vegetables. Drink fresh watermelon or melon juice without sugar and eat your soup also today.

So you have to eat 4-5 meals a day 2 being snacks here is a sample meal plan for the day:
MEAL PLAN:
8am……………..Meal #1
11am……………Meal #2 (heavy snack)
2pm……………..Meal #3
5pm……………..Meal #4 (light snack)
7pm……………..Meal#5
9pm……………..Light snack
NEVER EAT 1 1/2 HRS BEFORE BED!

FOODS ALLOWED:
-all fruit in any quantity
-all vegetables in any quantity, except
NO white potatoes
NO avacadoes
-Good source of protein:
chickpeas, bean, tofu & lentils
-Brown rice—2 cups of cooked rice
-2cups of low fat or skim or soy milk
-as much water as you like
-oatmeal–1 cup
-All herbs and spices
-6 oz. low fat yogurt (no fruit on the bottom 2X per day)
-4 egg whites
-2 cups herbal tea
-1 cup of ffreashly squeezed fruit or vegetable juice
-1 1/2 slices of low fat cheese or 1 veggie burger without bread
-sugarless gum
-1 tsp low fat mayo
-1 tbsp salt
-1pat (1tsp) of butter
-1 tsbp mustard or ketchup
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
-1 tsp sugar substitute

FOODS NOT ALLOWED:
-peanut butter/jelly
-white rice
-meat
-fish
-full fat cheese
-Bread ANY TYPE
-raisins
-dried or preserved fruits
-candy
-ice cream
-alcohol
-soda regular or diet
-coffee and all coffee drinks
-sports drinks
-milk shakes
-whole eggs or yolks
-fried food
-fast food

SNACKS FOR PHASE I:
-1/3 cup plain yogurt dip and 2 cups raw vegetables
- 10 Cashews
-1 low fat granola bar
-15 grapes and half of low-fat milk
-1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
-1 1/2 cups baby carrats
-(10-14) almonds
- 1 jello smoothie snack
-popcorn air popped (3 cups no butter)
-7 saltine crackers
-1 medium banana
-2 tbsp sunflower seeds

WORKOUT FOR 30 MIN. 5days a wk!

PostHeaderIcon How much weight can I expect to lose per week on the Induction phase of Atkins?

I am about 150, 5′3" – following the 20 carbs per day plan. Is there a general % of body weight lost per week? I would think it would be hard to compare actual pounds since a 300 lb man would lose a lot faster than a 100 lb woman.

Ahh, the magic of Atkins…
i was 170 lbs and 5′4” when I started Atkins. I lost 17lbs in the first 2 weeks. My roomate was 20 lbs heavier and lost 8 lbs in the same time. It really is different for everyone, but stick to it and the weight will come off.

Everyone wants a wonder pill that helps them to lose weight instantly without any effort. That is why people would not hesitate to try these diet pills and supplements. Unfortunately, most don’t work.

2. Be Focused in Your Weight Loss Goal

Quick weight loss can be achieved if you can stick with your exercise regime and dietary plans. It may take some time but it will happen. Stay focused on your goal, and keep reminding yourself on the motivating factors of your weight loss when you are starting to feel disappointed. It is important to share your goal with close friends and family members or even join a support group. Their constant encouragement would spur you on to fulfill your weight loss dream. 3. Have Fun in Your Weight Loss Exercises

First if all, bulimics typically don’t lose much weight.

Here’s what does happen:
-they grow thick "fur like" hair all over their body because they are malnourished.
-Tooth and mouth problems, such as discolored and decalcified teeth, and sensitive, swollen, and bleeding cheeks and gums. These are caused by vitamin deficiencies and by the stomach acid that comes up with vomit.
-they also typically lose teeth.
-Discolored or callused finger joints or backs of the hands – Jamming the fingers down the throat to induce vomiting may damage the outer surfaces of the hands.
-terrible breath

It’s a disgusting disease and you will look so much worse with the poor skin, nasty teeth, disgusting breath, and fur than you would with a few extra pounds.

PostHeaderIcon how much weight can i lose for homecoming in 2 weeks?

Homecoming is getting nearer and nearer and i don’t look to great. it’s on the 31st. i know, halloween ): i know that i wouldn’t be able to lose too much weight to make that much of a difference. what can i do to slim down a bit? how much is healthy to lose in two weeks?
btw: i’m 15 114 pounds and 5"8
i’m really not, underweight. i don’t want to lose A LOT. but go to 110? or so??
i’m in cross country and run about 3 miles everyday.

If you run that much, you should not have a large percent body fat. I know guys that have lost about 8 lbs in a week, but I was a wrestler. It is disturbing how much some guys push themselves to lose. Eat less, not just healthier. Fluids are crucial, drink as often as you can. Jogging 3 miles a day should be ok, but I might try to just eat less. Drinking a lot of water (like 2 glasses) before every meal will keep you from eating a whole lot. There are supplements to to similar things to what Maurice said that you can buy at a local pharmacy, stuff to just clean you out.

Don’t stress too much. You should be fine, especially if you are jogging that often.
